                                                                                  Energy Absorbing Fibre Reinforcement

Polymer fibres impart ductility to otherwise brittle concrete. The ground forces that act upon the sprayed tunnel lining can cause cracking and premature failure of the sprayed concrete. Polymer fibres act to absorb the energy generated by these ground forces and therefore allow for a safer management of underground tunnel lining movement.

                                                                                                   Dry and Wet Shotcrete

Using only the highest quality materials, ReoCo offers polymer fibres for both wet and dry mix shotcreting. Generally, dry mix shotcreting is recommended wherever the concrete will be used over a period greater than 2 hours, typically for repair work. Wet mix shotcreting is used where a continuous spraying system is required, such as in tunnel linings.
